PARROT-TOUGH
Our nest boxes are made of tenacious ABS plastic and reinforced at all exposed edges with heavy gauge aluminum (models 4 and 5), these boxes are immune to parrot beaks. There are no rivets, screws, crimps or folds a parrot can tear apart, or that could cause injury to the bird.
RUST AND CORROSION PROOF ABS
won't rust like sheet metal and is unaffected by the corrosive action of soaps, detergents and disinfectant. We use only stainless steel screws.
QUIET ABS
does not transmit sound like sheet metal does, providing the privacy and a security necessary to promote reproduction.
NON-TOXIC
Our nest boxes need no black interior paint because they are made of solid black, odorless ABS plastic. This provides a dark, naturally secure environment for your birds. Many birds begin breeding activities shortly after our boxes are installed. There is no toxic glue (as found in plywood) for your birds to ingest.
WEATHERPROOF
Unlike sheet metal or wood, our boxes won't leak because all corners are "chemically welded" making them essentially seamless.
SAFE
There are no sharp metal edges or nails or splinters to injure your birds. There are no open gaps that can wedge toenails entrapping a bird unseen in the box.
MAINTAINENCE
Our nest boxes come with drain holes in all bottom corners. They can be washed without removal and disinfected completely, as there are no cracks or folds to hold debris and no porous material that holds moisture and microbes.
ECONOMICAL
Our nest boxes are lifetime investments and come completely assembled. They will outlast a metal or wood box by many years.
FEATURES:
- One-half inch flange around both front and back for easy mounting inside or outside of any cage or flight. This is metal reinforced on models 4 and 5.
- Hinged or pivot doors work smoothly and trouble-free.
- Heavy gauge galvanized ladders on all vertical models are mounted on stand-offs that prevent injury or entrapment.
- Box designs and entrance sizes are proven effective and are more consistent with nest sites chosen in the wild.

For large Cockatoos and other pairs that need a double entrance box. Has a middle partition, dual heavy gauge ladders, one inspection door, and heavy reinforcing at both entrances and partition. Especially for breeding Cockatoos.
